The results are in, and we’re here to share the NWSL Team of the Round! Our fourth TOTR of the season comes in at $3.125M for 192 points, the most expensive TOTR so far (although still less expensive than the TOTM).
Esther González led the round with 23 points.
Fun Facts:
- The initial top 11 scorers were split practically evenly between defenders and forwards (6/5), with no midfielders or goalkeepers
- This is the first TOTR appearance this season for players from Gotham or Angel City
- The SAME TIE two weeks in a row? While we go back to see if this has ever occurred in a season, we’re pretty sure it’s the first time it’s happened back to back! Morgan and Bernal tie for the final defender spot in the TOTR this week
- Debinha continues her streak – all four TOTRs so far – and was the only player on this TOTR to feature in the TOTM as well
- This is the third TOTR appearance for Strom, and the second (in a row!) for the Spirit back three – McKeown, Morgan, and Bernal
- For everyone else, this is a first appearance on the TOTR
