Welcome to Round 11 of Fantasy NWSL! Helping your team survive international breaks since 2022.

Round 11 Match Overview:

All 12 teams have single games this week. The outlook for Round 11 looks similar to last week, and as we officially move into the second half of the NWSL season, we can gauge some of the larger season-long trends. Other than Round 8, goal scoring has stayed relatively consistent week to week at 2.6 to 2.8 goals per game. We haven’t yet seen a big drop off in scoring during the international break, but it does get much more difficult to predict the offensive stars in each game with many primary goal scorers still on international duty.

Team Stats:

Of the games this week, keep an eye on a possible shootout between Houston and Chicago while both Cascadia teams could rack up the defensive points (Portland vs. Gotham and OL Reign vs. Kansas City).

Goalkeeper: Phallon Tullis-Joyce has a good matchup against KC and is currently the highest-value keeper.

Defense: Feel free to spend some extra money on defense this week, especially on Portland’s Kelli Hubly and Madison Pogarch in a good matchup with a relatively low-scoring Gotham team. Lauren Barnes should do well against KC, while Tatumn Milazzo continues to be a very high-value option playing almost every minute for Chicago.

Midfield: Continue to roll with a very similar lineup to last week: Savannah DeMelo, Emily von Egmond, Vanessa DiBernardo, and Hina Sugita have arguably the highest fantasy point floors of any players not on international duty, and all have significant goal-scoring upside. DeMelo should keep the armband this week as the most consistent goal scorer of the group.

Forwards: Stick with Ebony Salmon and Jun Endo up front, both of whom should get 90 minutes and have good offensive matchups this week.

Bench: Start preparing for the end of the international break and stash Taylor Korniek as she won’t eat up too much of your cash. Alex Lorea and Adrianna Franch are starting to put up numbers at Kansas City, so get them on your bench for some better upcoming matchups. Tzarria King’s covid status is still somewhat unclear, but she should be a great high-value option for OL Reign once she’s back in the lineup.
