Other than Portland, OL Reign has been the most valuable team for fantasy points. With five players in the top 25 through 3 rounds, and FIVE of the top NINE defenders, you definitely want to maximize the production from your OL Reign slots. Considering they’ve only conceded once through three matches, I’d recommend playing two Reign DFs as well as goalie Phallon Tullis-Joyce. If you can afford Sofia Huerta and/or Lauren Barnes, go for it, but considering how evenly split the defensive points have been for the Reign, Alana Cook, Sam Hiatt, or Emily Sonnett are probably just as good and will save you some money.
The goalscoring in Seattle is a little more difficult to predict, but consider Olivia Van der Jagt. Her minutes trailed off a little at the end of last season, but she’s logged 90 in the last two games and has scored a goal. At only $75k, she could be an ideal midfield piece at a lower cost than Rose Lavelle or Jess Fishlock.
