With a long break between matches, I put together a dashboard that you can use to make some data-driven decisions! I encourage you to try it out yourself, you can find it here, and use it to find your own insights! Below is how I’ve used it as well as some suggestions for players to add based on their performances!

One key to fantasy is matchup difficulty. This is not listed in the dashboard, but you can see future matchup difficulties posted below. Sides such as Bristol, Aston Villa, Leicester, Tottenham, and Arsenal have easier paths for the next 4 weeks while Liverpool, Man U and Everton all face Arsenal and at least 1 more difficult matchup.

However, of the 4 teams with the “easiest” fixture difficulty, I am having a hard time finding great candidates to pop in the upcoming weeks. As you can see, most of the teams at the bottom of the table are matched up with each other, so I’m going to focus my attention on a different category for this write-up.

Who’s In Form

This week I want to focus more on recent trends. Using the sliders in the dashboard, you can filter to recent game weeks, and you uncover some interesting insights. From weeks 7–10, there were 3 strikers who stood out above the rest: Khadija Shaw, Lauren Hemp, and Lauren James.

All 3 were far ahead of the rest of the field, surpassing 60 points and can be great captain options moving forward.

One more note about forwards. If you set your fantasy roster with a premium player such as Khadija Shaw, it might be tough to find a value forward who is still returning points. In this category, there is one recent player standing out above the rest, and that is Sophie Haug, a 400k forward from Liverpool who leads her team in shots attempted.

If you want to learn more about a player such as Haug, you can check their player profile on the second page of the dashboard. For Haug, you can see she has scored her fantasy points in a balanced way, so while she may not repeat her standout performance in GW8 on a regular basis, she should be consistently scoring points regardless of her opponent.

Midfielders

In the midfield, Katie Zelem and Jill Roord have been leading the midfield pack, and both are bringing great returns for their affordable price tag. Roord at City has 3 favorable matchups coming up in the next 3 weeks.

One midfield standout that I want to mention is value mid Marie-Therese Hobinger. While priced at a cheap 200k, you get a midfielder who leads the team in shot creating actions and who is on all corners and set pieces, which gives you a great chance to rack up the attack points. She also leads her team in goals+assists at 5 (tied with the aforementioned Sophie Haug). While she has a difficult upcoming schedule, if you’re looking to free up funds Hobinger can be a great pick. I especially like that a significant amount of her points are coming from the attacking category, which should be easier to replicate and keep consistent.

Conclusions

In summary, you can use this new dashboard to evaluate players as you see fit! Take a look at teams, positions, or recent performances in the scatter plot, or investigate individual players and statistical leaders in the player overview.
