Round 5 begins at 9:30 pm EDT on April 18th, and here’s what you need to know!

Player Movement

Cece Kizer has signed with Utah after departing Gotham, and her team has been updated in the Player Database. This means that if you have Kizer in your lineup and had four Utah Royals players prior to this change, your lineup will have become ineligible due to carrying too many Utah players.

Players Who Have Been Flagged in the Team Selector

Tierna Davidson is no longer available after tearing her left ACL in a match away at Houston on March 30.

Shelby Hogan is on the 45-day injury list after an injury in practice on April 11 required a thumb procedure.

KK Ream is away on international duty with the USYNT team.

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for injury updates, the NWSL Availability page is live for 2025! We do our best to keep up to date with all long-term injuries in that space – short-term injuries are unlikely to be noted due to the nature of injury reporting in the league at this time.

Injury Updates

Ryan Campbell will not be available for Gotham’s next three matches on the road against LA, Portland, and Washington. She also missed last week’s match against North Carolina at home following a shoulder injury sustained in practice on April 11.

Ouleye Sarr was added to the SEI list at the very end of the season in 2024 after dealing with a back injury, leading us to believe she would be missing most, if not all, of 2025. Unfortunately, Spirit head coach Jonatan Giráldez shared with media this week that Sarr “is having problems” with her recovery, and stated that she is not expected to be back soon.

Elsewhere in the Washington training room, minutes restrictions on Heather Stainbrook, Courtney Brown, and Leicy Santos have lessened (to what extent, we are unclear, but less restriction is always good news!).

Rosemonde Kouassi “should be available” this weekend.

Croix Bethune is doing partial training sessions with the team. Despite having traveled to Houston earlier in the season, she was not ready to play, per Giráldez, and has had a setback in her rehab that scaled back her involvement in training. Giráldez shared that Bethune is not ready to be back fully with the team “for this week, not for the next week, but she’s going to be back soon.”

Rose Lavelle did not travel with Gotham for their west coast trip, per head coach Juan Carlos Amorós, but is continuing to progress in her recovery. We don’t have an exact timeline for Lavelle’s recovery, but this is in line with the expectation that she misses the first few months of the year.

Ella Stevens is considered day-to-day with a back injury, but did not travel to LA with Gotham and is not available for Friday’s match against Angel City. We do not know if she’ll be available to join the team for Tuesday’s match in Portland.

Dani Weatherholt has been activated and will be available for selection this weekend!
