Round 2 of 2023 FNWSL is in the books, and it included the highest-rated regular season TV broadcast ever for the NWSL! The championship game rematch between Kansas City and Portland reached nearly half a million viewers… and the happiest of those viewers were likely anyone who captained Sophia Smith. I won’t say “I told you so,” because I technically didn’t use the word “captain,” but I think “sticking with” is close enough.
