Welcome to Round 11 of FNWSL! This week kicks off early on Friday night with Louisville hosting San Diego, so be sure to have your team saved by Friday evening.

Round 10 saw another low-scoring weekend in the NWSL, with only 11 goals scored across the six matches. This included a 1-1 draw in Washington – which is perhaps the worst result for FNWSL purposes. On the bright side, Sophia Smith returned to the scoresheet and popular fantasy picks Trinity Rodman and Savannah DeMelo also found the back of the net. (Of course, this was the week I chose to swap Smith with Ashley Hatch at captain, but that’s neither here nor there).

With the relatively low number of goals scored over the past few rounds, especially by the “usual suspects,” FNWSL managers may be looking for a way to identify fantasy value outside of the primary goal scorers. So this week, we are going to take a look at set pieces – even if they don’t always lead to goals, they are one of the best ways to rack up the assist and attacking points in FNWSL.

Which players are taking the most set pieces?

What does the set piece data tell us?
